When you visit Nishvika Naidu's home in Bengaluru, you can expect to be greeted by warm licks from her six-month-old Cocker Spaniel, Junior Leo, and the year-and-a-half-old Indie, Lulu. On International Dog Day, Nishvika shares her affection for her furry four-legged companions. Nishvika has always had a special love for dogs. Despite her mother's initial resistance due to the perceived high maintenance of having a pet, Nishvika brought home her first dog, Leo, as a birthday gift for herself. Leo quickly became the center of their lives until he sadly passed away in December last year. Lulu entered their lives unexpectedly when Nishvika's mother rescued her from outside their apartment two years ago. Initially planning to find her a new home, they became attached to Lulu and decided to keep her. Junior Leo, lovingly known as Juny, joined the family after Leo's passing, bringing light back into the household. Despite some mischief from Lulu and Juny, Nishvika appreciates the joy and warmth they bring and looks forward to their affectionate greetings each time she returns home. Nishvika acknowledges that while dogs may sometimes cause trouble, their unconditional love and enthusiasm always win her heart.Hey, you gaze at them with pure love and ultimately choose to forgive them.
